Point Sal

    A few weeks ago my sister invited us to go on a long hike with them Sunday after church. I decided to tag along and have a kid free afternoon with my siblings. At the last minute Carter and Harper begged to tag along. I told them it was a very long hike and there's no way they'd make it that far and they definitely wouldn't enjoy it. They both promised that they would and said they reeeeeally wanted to go. I cringed and said "Ok" so we headed out.

    We ended up hiking twelve miles that day. TWELVE! My two babes hiked twelve miles with no complaining and happy cheerful attitudes the whole time! I'm still just so proud of how well they did. While it was so so hard and challenging it was also so so good! All I can do is smile when I think back on it.
